Happy June and Happy Pride!
This ace author is so happy that you guys are supporting my ace books – Nikki and Toby from Sidekicks have spent all month being the ace icons that we all deserve. However, this is going to be a long one, so buckle up; I have NEWS!
What Have I Been Up To In June?
June has been full of rest, relaxation, and most importantly WRITING!
My family owns a cabin in Montana, and I spent a week there enjoying the wildlife, seeing one of the towns I grew up in, and having a mini-writing retreat. Which, as I had been writing almost nonstop for the entire month of June, was really just me working on this book in a new environment.
Most people wouldn’t expect that I find that refreshing, but writing has always been something I find fills my cup, even if I am technically working at the same time. I have felt so relaxed, getting to be in nature and see some animals I typically wouldn’t see. And most importantly, I got to go to my favorite place in all of Montana: The Sweet Palace in Phillipsburg! Seriously, if you’re in Montana, go get yourself some fudge and/or taffy (my vote is always for both). You will NOT regret it.
Attention Everyone! I Have An Announcement!

Why yes, I am channeling my inner Glinda for this announcement, and I’m not sorry.
I have finally decided on the title of my Jonas Brothers-inspired romance. While I had previously said Playlists & Prose, the more I’ve worked on the second draft, the more I’ve realized that title just doesn’t fit. So, without further ado, and thanks to my bestie Jess, who talked it out with me, I’m happy to say that the title of the book is going to be *drumroll*
I Love You, It’s Ruining My Life
BUT THAT’S NOT THE ONLY THING. I also have officially written the blurb of the book, and as a super exclusive newsletter exclusive, you are going to be the first to read it!
I Love You, It’s Ruining My Life Blurb:
Nalini
Fifteen years ago, Nalini Rana became an infamous media sensation overnight when RaineFall’s breakout hit was named after her. Known for breaking Jack Raine’s heart, she was demonized by the tabloids and fangirls alike, while she wished her best friend (and Jack’s twin) Kameron would use his newfound fame to make the craziness stop. Instead, he ghosted her, leaving her alone as she gave up her dreams one by one in the name of safety.
Now, Nalini’s a burned-out high school teacher doing her best to hide from her past. Which has gotten a lot harder now that Kameron Raine has moved back to town, complete with his stupid smile and an adorable daughter Nalini can’t help but love.
Kameron
Fifteen years ago, Kameron left the sleepy town of Briar Hill behind for bigger and better things. As one-third of the boyband RaineFall, fame literally came overnight when the performance of their song “Nalini” went viral. But his new fame came with a choice: his best friend or his twin brother — and while family bonds were supposed to win out, it was something he immediately regretted.
Now, Kameron’s widowed, bandless, and in need of a fresh start. Moving back to Briar Hill seemed like the most logical (and budget-friendly) solution, though his daughter Cassidy would disagree. But coming back home came with more animosity than he expected, especially from Nalini, who he had thought moved on to bigger and better things than this small town.
As the two of them are forced to confront what happened years ago, surprising sparks start to fly, forcing them to ask the question: Is it possible RaineFall not only ruined their lives, but also ruined their future?
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!

I currently have the I Love You, It’s Ruining My Life cover sitting in my inbox, and I am looking for a cover reveal team!

And if you’re not – that’s okay! Preorders for the book will also open on July 6th, with the book coming out on September 1st!
Juliet Pictures of the Month
Juliet got to go on her very first vacation this month! I already had this trip planned before I adopted her, and from the moment I got her, I knew she was coming too. She got to experience a lot of firsts: her first time in the woods, her first waterfall, her first ice cream. Overall, she loved being able to look out the window at all the nature. Even if she tried to make friends with deer. Multiple. Times.

Book I Loved This Month:
Nailed at Home Plate by K. Iwancio
The Savannah Bananas are one of my guilty pleasures: dancing, two hours MAX, and all those trick plays? I eat it up every time. So when I found out that K. Iwancio wrote a Banana Ball-inspired romance book? I HAD TO READ IT.
The vibes of the book are fantastic: I was laughing out loud on the plane ride (sorry to everyone sitting around me; I literally could not hold in my giggles). The tension between Cadence and Jamie was so much fun.

The book is such a fun twist on the typical sports romance, and it gets SPICY – so those who love spice will definitely enjoy it. I am so excited to read book two, and I plan on reading any other Philly Silly’s books that she puts out – they are absolutely worth the read.
You can get your copy of the book HERE.
Book Spotlight: The Witching Hour
Perfect for Summerween!!!

Once upon a time, there were stories…
Cinderella’s elusive glass slipper, Rapunzel’s cascading locks, and the Miller’s Daughter’s remarkable ability to transform straw into gold – all of these elements are interwoven in the tapestry of magical kingdoms. Yet, every fairy tale is incomplete without a malevolent antagonist, someone so wicked that they will stop at nothing to disrupt the path to happily ever after. Or so the people of these magical realms have been led to believe.
However, the Villains have their own tales, the ones the world has never learned. And when a mysterious invitation shows up on their doorsteps, they’re given the chance to do something they haven’t done before: tell their side of the story.
The Villains are meeting at midnight…will you join them?
